WUTI curated this event as part of the launch of the new We Work space at The Hoxton Chicago. To curate the evening we tuned into Chicago’s bold history of socially conscious documentary filmmaking. Three strident documentary filmmakers joined us to discuss the dynamics of ethics, truth and story in the ever evolving political landscape including:

COLETTE GHUNIM, whose latest work explores the complexity of biracial identity MARIA FINITZO, the multi-award winning documentary filmmaker who has been tackling social issues for the past 25 years & ASHLEY O'SHAY whose work brings into focus the young black experience.
